This stunning pony gelding is an attraction in the dressage rings not only due to his nice colour. Three high quality basic gait with a lot of ground coverage, rhythm, and expression, a superb rideability in combination with a sweet character are a perfect basis for a successful career in the dressage rings. Dakota, who was approved stallion and got gelded last winter, could be a great option for the young horse dressage championships in the next years and be trained up to FEI levels to become a successful FEI dressage pony.

Pedigree

Dakota carries the talent for the international ponysport in his blood: He is a son of the probably most successful pony of all times: Dornik B. Dornik B was 4 times "Bundeschampion" and won not less than 10 medals at the European pony championships with his riders. He was successful up to Prix St. George and his results list is almost infinite. Also as a sire he had an enormous influence in the breeding of dressage ponies: His offspring won more than 320.000€ and many many medals at all different championships.
His dam Dakota is also sired by a successful pony stallion - Miraculix. She has already another licensed son and several offspring successful up to FEI levels.

Suitable for

Dakota is a promising pony with all the quality to be successful in the international FEI dressage pony sport.

This promising Hannoverian colt convinces already today with expressive basic gaits and a beautiful and very correct conformation. Nice and harmonic proportions with a good insertion of the neck and a strong back as well as a friendly character are some more highlights of this nice colt.

Pedigree

His sire, the KWPN stallion Las Vegas, is one of the future hopes for the dutch dressage sport: He won his stallion licensing test and was also winner of the Pavo cup. As a 5 year old he placed 5th in the finals of the World Championship for young horses and last year, with 6 years, he placed 4th in the finals. For the trot, the canter and also the rideability he received several times the grade 10!
His dam also competed successfully in dressage before being dedicated to breeding. She got placed in young horse dressage classes and was sold trough the Hannoverian auction in Verden to her current owner. She is bred by the well know sire Dancier (De Niro - Lancier)

Description

This tall and very well bred Hannoverian gelding "Cooper" could already win his first ribbons in young horse show jumping classes of 1,10 m. WIth a lot of scope and rapid reactions at the fence, the judges gave him notes up to 8,0 in competitions. He is learning to use his body effectively at the jump and gaining power and routine day by day. He is a horse with the right mindset and always wants to go on the "other side". He reacts nicely to the riders aids and is an athletic and very well built young show jumper!

Pedigree

The sire Casallco (by Casall - Contender) won the silver medal at the German Championship with his rider Philipp Rüping in 2022 and is competing successfully up to 1,55 m classes. The dam's sire Count Grannus is also a very successful showjumper with wins and placements up to 1,50 m classes.
The dam line is also very well known: great dam Gräfin Gloria produced a lot of very good show jumpers, among them the gelding Champ of Class, competing in 1,45 m classes.
